Our Purpose
Engineer Your Vision exists to remove the structural and social barriers that prevent talented young people from all backgrounds from accessing engineering and STEM careers. We do this by providing early, hands-on exposure to engineering, building confidence through practical experience, and creating opportunities that many students would not otherwise have access to. Our purpose is not just to inspire interest, but to make engineering feel achievable, relevant, and within reach.
The Four Pillars
Workshops
We deliver hands-on engineering workshops in primary schools, designed to introduce students to engineering in an accessible and engaging way. Each session begins with a simple explanation of what engineering is and how it shapes the world around us, before moving into practical, activity-based challenges. These workshops encourage problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, helping students think like engineers while planting the idea that engineering can be both a genuine career path and an exciting personal interest.
Newsletter
Our newsletter reaches thousands of students and serves as a central hub for engineering opportunities and information. It shares links to competitions, programmes, and events that students can actively take part in, helping them explore engineering beyond the classroom. Alongside this, the newsletter highlights major developments in engineering and technology from around the world, keeping students informed, curious, and connected to the rapidly evolving field of engineering.
Competitions
We regularly host engineering competitions, often in collaboration with external organisations, to give students the chance to apply their skills in a challenging and supportive environment. These competitions may be team-based or individual, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and independent thinking. By tackling real-world style problems, participants develop confidence and practical experience while gaining a deeper understanding of how engineers approach and solve complex challenges.
Events
Our events bring together students, engineers, and organisations to create meaningful exposure to the engineering world. They provide students with the opportunity to meet and speak directly with engineers, gaining insight into careers and pathways they may not otherwise have access to.
